Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner with Chalk
Gwen dragged me down to the basement a few days ago to show me this chalk drawing of three meals. While she can’t hardly auction off a chalkboard, she wanted to share it here for everyone.
Gwen said she drew this because lots of people don’t have enough to eat. If only feeding the hungry were as easy as drawing a picture of food!

I'm Gwen, and I love to draw, paint, and play with my brothers and sisters. I want to be a dolphin trainer when I grow up.

This is wonderful.
Taking off on your idea to have kids teach, how about having homeless artists teach? That would surely build dignity.
In addition, there could occasionally be a more involved class that homed people could take for a fee… an art school run by poor people. The students might be kids or they might be adults. The fee structure could be gradual, free for the very poor.
Just a thought, one possible direction.

What a fantastic idea!
Set up a venue, find those interested in teaching, pursue some donation of needed materials, find a date, promote, and the teachers get whatever entry fees are paid in.
Thank you!
